Retrofitting Work for Additional Lift Shaft

The project involved structural retrofitting within an operational commercial building to accommodate the addition of a new lift shaft. The scope required modifying the existing structural system while ensuring stability, continuity, and minimal disruption to ongoing building operations.
Introducing a lift shaft within an existing structure required careful intervention in load-bearing elements without compromising the integrity of the building. The project had to be executed within an active IT park environment, where uninterrupted operations, safety, and controlled execution were critical.
A detailed retrofitting strategy was developed to integrate the new lift shaft within the existing framework. The approach focused on staged structural modifications, strengthening of critical elements, and controlled load redistribution.
Retrofitting works were carried out in phases, with selective structural alterations, reinforcement, and strengthening executed under close supervision. Activities were carefully sequenced to maintain building functionality and ensure safety at all times.
